The prices are each supplier's own published figures, so they aren't like for like. Lead Pronto's starting price doesn't say whether it's for an exclusive or a shared lead, TNW Marketing's is for a booked commercial survey rather than a homeowner lead, and Sales Fuel's is a base price across its leads rather than a solar price.

What does each supplier offer?

CEG Ai (Clean Energy Group)

Sets meetings for commercial solar installers with decision makers at commercial and industrial properties, for systems from 30kW to 5MW and above. It works across Australia, North America and the UK.

Prospects are found with its own CEG Ai Prospector software, machine learning and B2B intent data, drawing on a database it says holds over 79 million commercial property contacts. They're qualified for an immediate need for a renewable energy system. It says it doesn't share your commercial solar leads and works with a limited number of clients, and it guarantees meetings with commercial clients who fit your profile. Prices aren't published. There's no lock-in contract and you can cancel at any time. It doesn't publish a replacement policy.

Digital Roo

Sells solar panel and battery leads to UK installers from its own campaigns on Meta, Google, Microsoft, YouTube and TikTok. It also sells mortgage, loan and insurance leads.

Each solar lead goes to no more than three installers and is never resold. Every lead confirms their mobile by PIN and agrees to be contacted before submitting, then passes five checks: PIN-confirmed mobile, live number, valid email, real postcode and no duplicates. The homeowner answers questions on property type, roof type, conservation area, existing panels, monthly electricity bill, battery interest and whether they'd pay cash or on finance. Leads go to your CRM or dialler in real time. Prices are agreed on a call and aren't published. You pay per lead with no minimum term, but solar installers take at least two leads a day. Duplicates from the last 90 days, hoax leads and wrong numbers are replaced if you report them within seven days.

GMS Leads

Sells exclusive solar PV leads that are never resold, of two kinds: ECO4 HHCRO leads, from homeowners receiving at least one qualifying benefit, across England, Scotland and Wales; and able-to-pay or finance leads.

Every lead starts as an online enquiry, with consent, IP address and time stored. Qualified leads go to its British home-based quality team, which confirms the benefit criteria by phone and voice-records the homeowner's consent to be contacted by you alone. Able-to-pay qualified leads come with property type and size, roof direction and type, possible obstructions and current heating. Qualified leads are delivered in its online CRM, and able-to-pay web enquiries through its portal as soon as they're submitted. It offers a nine-day replacement period for a lead that doesn't qualify, though able-to-pay web enquiries are replaced only for hoax contact details. Prices aren't published.

HeatPumpsAndSolar.co.uk

A consumer site for solar and heat pumps that sells solar PV leads to MCS-certified installers, and checks your certification independently before you join. Each lead is locked to one installer and never appears anywhere else, and you can lock your postcode areas.

Leads cost £15–£35, with a minimum order of 10, 5% off at 25 or more a month and 12% off at 50 or more. New partners get their first month free. Its 8-point check covers homeowner status, roof suitability, financial eligibility, one-time codes for phone and email, TPS screening and a one-to-three-month timeline, and each lead confirms Smart Export Guarantee eligibility. Leads go to your CRM in real time, plus email and SMS. Wrong or disconnected numbers, rented or council properties, duplicates and enquiries outside your postcodes are credited within four working days. There's no setup fee and no long-term contract.

Lead Pronto

Sells solar leads to installers across England, Scotland and Wales, targeted by region or postcode, from its own paid social, PPC and SEO campaigns, mainly on Meta and Google. You choose exclusive leads, which go to one installer only and cost more, or shared leads. It doesn't say how many installers share one.

Its solar page puts leads from £18, branded leads under your company's name from £35 and booked hotkeys from £130, though its pricing guide, and one section of the same page, say leads start from £25. Every lead is qualified by its in-house call centre against criteria you set, such as homeownership, roof suitability, ability to pay and conservation areas, and goes to your CRM as soon as the form is submitted. It also offers revenue share. There's no contract or notice period, and every campaign includes a rejection policy. New partners get 20 free leads after their first 100 paid, or £400 of lead credit instead.

Leads 2 Trade

Sells solar panel leads from its own websites to MCS-registered installers in its network, qualified twice by its in-house call centre. It checks that the customer owns the home, wants the work within six months and a free survey or quote, the house type and roof orientation, the contact details and the best time to call.

How many installers get a lead depends on its type. Hot Key leads go to one installer and are handed over on the phone. Premium leads go to a maximum of three, with appointments booked and confirmed and a "no pitch, no fee" guarantee. Qualified leads are sent out up to four times, and Lead Vault leads are sold first come, first served. Prices aren't published, and there are no joining or subscription fees. You can reject a lead within 72 hours for the reasons it lists, and cancelling needs 14 to 30 days' notice.

Leads for Solar

Sells solar panel, battery, heat pump and EV charger leads to installers across the UK. Leads come from its own websites, social media campaigns and door-to-door canvassers. It also sells marketing services.

You register free, then pick leads from a board showing each one's area, job type, property details and price. Every lead is sold once, to one installer, and comes off the board when you buy it. Solar panel leads cost from £40. Leads are verified by its team before they're posted, but it doesn't say how. There are no contracts or monthly minimums. If the number is wrong or the homeowner didn't ask for a quote, you report it within three days and the lead is replaced once that's confirmed.

POCKLA

This is us

Finds homeowners looking into solar panels and batteries, follows up on WhatsApp or by text, and sends each lead to your CRM or POCKLA Desk. Commercial projects aren't sent.

Every lead is sold once, to one buyer, and invalid numbers are returned with no time limit. It publishes an indicative £20–£50 per qualified web lead, with the exact price agreed on a call. The phone number is checked live and the postcode against your area, and the consent names your business, with its wording and time stored. Everything else, such as the property, roof, electricity bill and timeframe, is the homeowner's own answer on the form, and you choose the postcodes. It checks MCS certification before launch if you advertise it, and also does live transfers, priced on your criteria. There's no setup fee, no monthly fee and no minimum term.

PoweredLeads

Sells solar and air source heat pump leads. For solar, that's homeowners asking for a quote for panels, solar PV or solar with a battery, in the postcodes you cover. Every solar lead goes to one installer only and is never resold, and area exclusivity is available.

Solar leads cost from £45 per accepted lead, varying with order size and repeat orders. Prices exclude VAT, as it's below the VAT threshold. Blocks are paid for before delivery, with no setup fee, retainer or contract term. Before a lead is accepted, it checks that the homeowner asked for a quote and agreed to a named installer contacting them, owns the property, is inside your postcodes, and has a real, reachable name, address and phone number. Leads arrive by email or a supported system, and a block doesn't promise a booked appointment. A lead that misses its standard is replaced free as account credit, whenever you spot it, but there are no cash refunds on delivered leads that met it.

Sales Fuel

Sells solar leads across mainland England, Scotland and Wales, from a postcode to a region, as form-fill leads, hotkeys, live transfers or booked appointments. It uses filters and in-house phone qualification on homeownership and buying authority, roof suitability, employment, budget and an electricity spend over £60 a month.

Leads are exclusive to you for 30 days. After that, one you haven't contacted can go back on sale. Its FAQ puts a lead at around £25 plus VAT at base, paid upfront, with a minimum order of 50 leads for pay-as-you-go, or 10 a week for hotkeys and appointments. Pay-as-you-go has no minimum contract. A dead number, hoax or duplicate reported within 30 days is replaced free. Leads go to your CRM, a Google Sheet or by email.

Solar Panel Leads

Sells exclusive solar leads to UK installers, generated through its own SEO, Google and Facebook ads and content, and also sells SEO, PPC and marketing services to solar companies. It covers every major UK city and region, targeted by postcode, town or region.

Every lead is exclusive to one business and never shared with other installers. Machine learning ranks each enquiry by purchase intent, property fit and local demand. Its compliance team then confirms homeownership, and its UK review team checks accuracy, contactability and genuine interest. Every lead passes GDPR, TPS and consent checks, and arrives in real time by email or in your CRM. Its own prices aren't published: its FAQ says exclusive solar leads in the UK typically cost £35–£120, and it quotes each company separately. There are no long contracts. It doesn't publish bad-lead terms.

TNW Marketing

Books commercial solar site surveys for installers across the UK, and books commercial appointments only. Every prospect is qualified on ownership, energy spend, roof suitability and buying intent before it reaches your calendar.

Leads are exclusive and never shared. It charges £250 to £1,000 plus VAT per booked appointment, set by system size and qualification, such as bills and half-hourly data, and bills only for qualified commercial surveys that go ahead. A booking that misses the agreed brief is replaced or refunded. There are no retainers or monthly minimums. Its terms say fees, payment and refunds are set out in a separate written contract.

Watts Marketing

Sells exclusive solar appointments, booked into your diary, across the UK in the postcode areas you choose. Each appointment goes to one installer. It pays for its own advertising, through its consumer brands, Facebook, Google and search.

Its own UK agents qualify each homeowner by phone: they own the home, it isn't listed or in a conservation area, they have no bad credit, CCJs, IVAs or debt management, an income of at least £10,000, are employed, self-employed or retired and under 69, the roof is clear of obstructions, they spend at least £35 a month on electricity, and all adults in the home will be there. AI and a human team then validate the call. Appointments go into your CRM in real time. Prices aren't published, and you pay per appointment as you take them, with no contract or minimum. An appointment that doesn't go ahead is returned and replaced with a fresh lead.

Which solar lead suppliers are exclusive?

Nine sell every solar lead to one installer: CEG Ai, GMS Leads, HeatPumpsAndSolar.co.uk, Leads for Solar, POCKLA, PoweredLeads, Solar Panel Leads, TNW Marketing and Watts Marketing.

At the others, a lead is shared or it depends:

  • Digital Roo shares each lead with up to three installers, and never resells it.
  • Lead Pronto sells solar leads exclusive or shared, as you choose.
  • Leads 2 Trade sends a lead to between one and four installers, depending on the lead type.
  • Sales Fuel keeps a lead exclusive to you for 30 days.

A shared lead isn't a worse version of an exclusive one, just a different product. Our guide to exclusive vs shared leads explains the difference.

How much do solar leads cost?

Published prices among the suppliers here start at £15 a lead at HeatPumpsAndSolar.co.uk, which charges £15–£35 with a minimum order of 10. Lead Pronto's solar page puts leads from £18, though its pricing guide says from £25. Sales Fuel puts a lead at around £25 plus VAT at base. Leads for Solar charges from £40 and PoweredLeads from £45 per accepted lead. POCKLA publishes an indicative £20–£50 per qualified web lead.

TNW Marketing charges £250 to £1,000 plus VAT per booked commercial survey, set by system size.

CEG Ai, Digital Roo, GMS Leads, Leads 2 Trade, Solar Panel Leads and Watts Marketing don't publish prices. Solar Panel Leads says exclusive solar leads in the UK typically cost £35–£120, but quotes each company separately.

The price depends on your area, your criteria, the volume and whether the lead is exclusive. A booked appointment and a web enquiry aren't two prices for the same thing either, so compare what each lead includes before comparing what it costs. Our guide to what solar leads cost works through the cost per install.

What to ask before you buy solar leads

  • Who else gets the lead? One installer, up to three, or more, and for how long.
  • Homeowner or commercial? Two suppliers here book commercial surveys and meetings. The rest sell homeowner leads.
  • What exactly am I buying? A web enquiry, a phone-qualified lead, a hotkey handed over on the phone, or a booked appointment.
  • What does it tell me about the roof? Which way it faces, shading, roof type, obstructions, and whether the home is listed or in a conservation area.
  • Panels, battery or both? And whether the homeowner already has panels and wants a battery added.
  • Grant, cash or finance? One supplier here sells ECO4 grant leads alongside able-to-pay ones. Ask what the ad said about funding, and whether you can take self-funded enquiries only.
  • What counts as a bad lead, and how long do I have to report it? The terms here run from 72 hours to no time limit.
  • What ties me in? Minimum orders of 10 or 50 leads, two leads a day, prepaid blocks and notice periods.
  • Do you need my MCS certification? Some suppliers here require it or check it.

Our guide to how to choose a lead generation company sets out ten questions to ask any supplier, and our comparison of UK lead generation companies covers other sectors.

How we checked

We started from the suppliers that come up when you ask search engines and AI assistants who sells solar leads in the UK. We left out any that don't advertise UK solar leads, and this is a crowded market, so we haven't covered every supplier. Then we read each supplier's own website on 29 October 2026: its solar page, plus its pricing, terms and FAQ pages where we used them. We didn't ask for quotes or contact any supplier. Prices and terms change, so check them with the supplier before you buy.

If you run one of these companies and something here is wrong or out of date, email team@pockla.com and we'll correct it.
